Terms of Service — Maple Bridge Romanian Language Services Ltd.
Effective Date: September 25, 2026
1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) constitute a binding legal agreement between you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) and Maple Bridge Romanian Language Services Ltd. (“Maple Bridge Romanian Language Services Ltd.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a business providing Romanian-language instruction and related educational services in Canada.
By accessing our website, booking a consultation, registering for a class, purchasing a package, attending a lesson, or otherwise using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as amended from time to time. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
These Terms apply to all services offered by Maple Bridge Romanian Language Services Ltd., including online and in-person services where applicable, and any related materials, communications, or learning platforms we provide.
2. Scope of Services
Maple Bridge Romanian Language Services Ltd. provides Romanian language education and related coaching services, which may include:
- Private Romanian language tutoring;
- Group Romanian conversation classes;
- Romanian for beginners and complete starter programs;
- Heritage Romanian language support for families and children;
- Business Romanian and workplace communication coaching; and
- Pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary refinement sessions.
We may offer services in different formats, including live online sessions, pre-recorded content, worksheets, homework assignments, messaging support, and other learning resources. We reserve the right to determine the structure, schedule, duration, level, curriculum, and availability of each service or program.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, our services are educational in nature and do not guarantee specific results, proficiency levels, examination outcomes, employment outcomes, immigration outcomes, translation accuracy, or any particular language acquisition timeline.
3. User Obligations and Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information when booking or registering for services;
- Attend sessions on time and prepared with any requested materials;
- Maintain respectful and professional conduct toward instructors, staff, other learners, and any third parties;
- Use our materials only for lawful, personal, and authorized educational purposes;
- Ensure you have the technical equipment, internet access, and software necessary to participate in online sessions;
- Notify us promptly of any changes to your contact details or scheduling constraints;
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and platform rules while using our services; and
- Not record, reproduce, distribute, publish, or share sessions or materials without our prior written consent, unless such recording is expressly permitted by us in writing.
If you enroll a child or another dependent in our services, you represent and warrant that you have the legal authority to do so and to accept these Terms on their behalf where applicable.
We reserve the right to suspend, refuse, or terminate services for misconduct, repeated lateness, harassment, misuse of materials, non-payment, or any behavior that interferes with the safe and effective delivery of our services.
4. Payment Terms and Conditions
Fees for services will be communicated at the time of booking, enrollment, or by written invoice. All prices are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes, including GST/HST where required by law, may be added to the stated price.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Payment is due in advance of service delivery or according to the invoice terms provided;
- Packages, memberships, or course fees may be non-transferable and must be used within the stated validity period;
- Late or failed payments may result in suspended access to sessions, materials, or booking availability;
- You are responsible for any fees charged by your bank, credit card provider, or payment processor;
- Any discounts, promotions, or coupons may be subject to separate conditions and may be withdrawn at any time before redemption; and
- We may require a deposit to secure a booking, which may be applied toward the final balance unless otherwise specified.
If a payment is reversed, charged back, or disputed without a valid basis, we reserve the right to suspend your access and recover administrative, legal, and collection costs to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We may use third-party payment processors. Your use of any such processor is subject to that provider’s own terms and privacy policies.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Because our services involve reserved instructional time and preparation, cancellation and refund rules apply as set out below, unless a different policy is expressly stated in writing for a particular program, package, or promotion.
- Individual lessons: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time, unless otherwise stated. Late cancellations, no-shows, or missed sessions may be charged in full.
- Group classes: Seats are reserved in advance and may not be transferable. Missed group classes are generally non-refundable and non-creditable, except where required by law or expressly stated by us in writing.
- Packages and starter programs: Once commenced, refunds may be limited or unavailable because preparation, planning, and access to materials have been provided. Any partial refund, if offered, will be calculated at our discretion in a manner consistent with applicable law.
- Instructor cancellations: If we cancel a session, we will use reasonable efforts to reschedule the session or provide a credit, refund, or alternative arrangement, as appropriate.
- Force or technical issues: If a session cannot proceed due to our technical failure, we may offer a rescheduled session or credit. If the issue arises from your equipment, connection, or environment, the session may be treated as attended or forfeited, subject to our discretion and applicable law.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to our contact email and should include your name, booking details, and reason for the request. Any approved refund will be issued to the original payment method when reasonably possible and within a commercially reasonable time.
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law in Canada or the province in which you reside.
6. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Maple Bridge Romanian Language Services Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of our services.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the services, whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, shall be limited to the amount actually paid by you to Maple Bridge Romanian Language Services Ltd. for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or the minimum amount permitted by law, whichever is greater.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free materials, or that our services will meet your individual expectations, specific goals, or external requirements.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All materials provided by Maple Bridge Romanian Language Services Ltd., including lesson plans, worksheets, slides, audio or video recordings, written content, curricula, exercises, branding, logos, course structures, and other learning resources, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

In the event of force majeure, we may suspend, reschedule, modify, or cancel affected services without liability to the extent permitted by law. We will use reasonable efforts to resume services as soon as practicable.
